MEET MS. MACKENSIE

Instructor - Pre-School, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical,

Technique / Strength / Conditioning & DOCC Choreographer

Ms. Mackensie has been training in dance for the past 13 years and is a 2024 Teacher Graduate of Dancers Only. Mackensie was a member of the award winning Dancers Only Competition Company for 12 years. She developed a passion for dance at a young age and growing up as a homeschool student allowed her the opportunity to explore dance on a more intense level. Gaining notoriety in the regional and national dance scene for her extreme flexibility and performance quality, her competitive accomplishments are vast and impressive, winning various High Score Awards, several 1st overall rankings and numerous regional titles, as well as 3 National Solo Championship Titles throughout her career. In addition to competing and training as a student at Dancers Only, Mackensie was a Class Assistant for various classes including preschool and combo classes, as well as assisting and helping with various ages and genres with the competition team. She also does a wonderful job with private lessons for our younger dancers. Mackensie strives to be the best role model she can be to all of  the students at Dancers Only. She is a versatile dancer who thrives in all genres of dance.

Mackensie was selected by the faculty of “The Streetz” Dance Convention and Competition to be a member of their 2024-2025 company assistant team! She is traveling with Streetz as a company assistant where she is assisting and training alongside some of the best industry professionals. She is also a convention assistant for “Innovative Fusion Convention”
where she assists and trains alongside amazing industry professionals as well.

Mackensie will be pursuing a professional career in the dance industry and is taking this current year to explore all aspects of the industry while continuing to learn and further her training. She was accepted into the CLI Conservatory in Massachusetts which was founded and is directed by industry professional Teddy Forance. She was invited to and attended a callback audition for acceptance into Pace University’s Commercial Dance Program.

Mackensie is so grateful for everything the staff at Dancers Only has done for her and her dance career, and she is honored to now be a member of the Dancers Only Faculty!
