Dress Code Policies

Hair must be secured at all times.

Ballet requires hair in a Bun! NO EXCEPTIONS!

No panties should be worn under leotards - If worn, you will be told to remove for the next class.

You will not be eligible for Perfect Attendance if you do not come dressed properly.

We recommend BLOCH brand shoes and CAPEZIO brand tights depending on the class.

Dress Code By Class

PRE-SCHOOL I & II (TAP/BALLET COMBO)

Solid Pink Leotard
Pink Footed Tights
Pink Ballet Shoes
Tan Tap Shoes
Hair secured

No ribbon ties! Tap shoes must be snap-on, Velcro, buckle, or elastic.
Skirts are allowed but must be attached to the leotard.
No tutus!

BALLET PROGRAM (All Levels)

Solid Black Leotards
Ballet Pink Footed Tights
Pink Ballet Shoes
Level I & II — leather split sole
Level III — canvas split sole
Black ballet skirt optional

Hair must be in a bun - No exceptions!

BEGINNER COMBO (TAP/BALLET)

Black Leotards Only (No Tutus)
Light Tan Footed tights
Tan Tap Shoes (Mary-Jane style)
Pink Ballet Shoes
Hair secure in bun/ponytail

LYRICAL / CONTEMPORARY

Solid-colored Leotards/Sports Bra/Fitted Crop Tops
Booty shorts or leggings acceptable
Tights are optional (stirrup or footless only)
Lyrical — Tan leather half-sole shoes
Contemporary — No Shoes

TAP / JAZZ TECHNIQUE - LEVEL I & II (Age 7-11)

Black Leotards Only
Black Booty Shorts Only
Tan Footed tights
Tan Tap Shoes (lace-up style)
Tan split-sole slip-on jazz shoe (Bloch Neo-flex)
Hair secure in a ponytail

TAP / JAZZ TECHNIQUE - LEVEL III (Age 12+)

Solid Colored Leotards/Sports Bra/Fitted Crop Tops
Tan or Black tights
Booty Shorts or Leggings acceptable
Tan Tap Shoes (lace-up style)
Tan split-sole slip-on jazz shoe (Bloch Neo-flex)

ACRO PROGRAM

Leotard or sports bra worn with either leggings, biker shorts or footless tights. No shoes.

***No leotards by themselves without a legging/biker shirt over it OR you may wear footless stockings.

HIP-HOP

Freedom of choice Dancewear (comfortable dancewear/exercise clothes preferred...please no play clothes or school uniforms)
